My love for all things spooky, dark, and mysterious started when I was a child, thanks to my mum and grandfather. They introduced me to horror, witchcraft, folklore, and ghost stories, sparking a curiosity about the unknown that’s never left me. Those stories and influences helped shape my passion for celebrating the darker, more unconventional side of life.

I started Deadly Wicks because I was frustrated by how hard it was to find candles and wax melts that matched my unique tastes. The market felt saturated with mainstream designs that just didn’t speak to me or others who love the eerie and mystical. So, I decided to create something different — high-quality, vegan, cruelty-free candles and wax melts that celebrate the beauty in the spooky and the macabre.
